Training takes many forms for our Lee County ARES® / RACES. In-Person and On-The-Air Meetings are prime; drills and exercises are scheduled at regular intervals; and the annual SET (Section Emergency Test) all combine to develop and improve the operating skills of our members.

ALERT Members are required to be certified by FEMA in IS-100 and IS-700. If you want to participate in "Out of County Deployments" you must have completed IS-200 and IS-800 as well.
These on-line programs take about two hours each to complete and are free of charge.
HINT: Print out the test before proceeding with the course. Mark answers to the test as you find them. At the end of the course, take the on-line test by filling in the answers you entered on the test copy as you studied the course.
When you finish the course a Certificate of Completion will be e-mailed to you by FEMA. Please forward a copy of the Certificate(s) to Don Domina KCØDE for our files.
