May 22, 2013 -- Ft. Myers, FL -- (photo on right) Larry Zimmer W4LWZ, ARES EC for Lee County and leader of A.L.E.R.T. was presented the General James H. Doolittle Award by Lee County EOC Operations Chief Sandra Tapfumaneyi.

     The General James H. Doolittle Award is “Presented to volunteers who exemplify the volunteer spirit in their generous commitment of time, effort, and support to our endeavors”.
